Duralmond decorative, moulded tiles open up a whole range of shapes and textures ¡n a field that to date has been limited to cold, fíat surfaces.

Duralmond is a composite material obtained from crushed almond shells mixed with resins. The result is biodegradable and recyclable. An effective alternative to wood, Duralmond can be considered truly environment-friendly as it does not require trees to be felled. An ideal material for both its aesthetic characteristics and its functional virtues - it is water-repellent, resistant to insects and other biotic agents, has good thermal and acoustic characteristics and is sufficiently fireproof.

Single-colour gloss lacquer

We can finish tiles in any colour from the general RAL and NCS paint charts. We can also use many references from the Pantone. Only occasionally do we accept references from paint manufacturers own charts.

Concrete effect

Effect inspired by smooth cement and achieved by pigmenting the mixture so only two options are available - the basic colour as in the sample, and a dark colour. These finishes are not stable in direct sunlight.

Matt one-colour lacquer

We can finish parts In any colour from the general RAL and NCS paint charts. Many references from the Pantone chart can also be used. Only occasionally do we accept references from paint manufacturers' own charts.

Dye + lacquer

This finish is usually used on the ribbed tiles The effect is of shading, like leather, so that coverage is not smooth but muted. The different tiles are not exactly the same, which reinforces the mural effect. The finish options are dark walnut, medium walnut, light walnut, sapele, mahogany, cherry and wenge.

Metallic

The basic finishes are RAL 9006 and RAL 9007. On order land at a price to be determined we can produce finishes in bronze, various shades of gold and copper. We can also produce car-style metallic colours, for which we use the automobile manufacturers' colour charts.

Textured or multicolour lacquer

This is made up of different coloured specks, giving a very pleasant, velvety look. The colours available are coral red, evening blue, fir green, leather ochre, fog grey, silver grey and ash white.

NEW INSTALLATION SYSTEM:
DIRECT PROFILING WITH ADVANCED FEATHER TONGUE FOR FIXING TO WALL OR STRIPS

1 .- The system consists of two profiles, one for horizontal use and one
for vertical use. An A type profile for horizontal placement and a B profile for
vertical use, although this is optional.
2 .- Type A profiles are supplied in 3 metre lengths whilst the type B profiles
are supplied in 22mm lengths, narrower than the width of the panels to be
installed.
3 .- We must first of all check the planing of the walls where the
installation is to take place. If there are no problems we can work directly on the wall but if the wall isn't levelled properly we must first of all install wooden, composite or metal strips (e.g. Pladur) to correct the defects.
4 .- Once the wall has been correctly prepared, the first step is normally to
screw the type A aluminium profiles to the strips or to the wall (in this case we would first need to drill holes in the wall and use anchor plugs). If strips are being used, a self-threading screw will be sufficient to hold the type A profile to the strip. It is very important that the type A profile is perfectly level. We will place the screw in the lower area of the strip so that the head of the screw doesn't bother us.
5 .- Once we have fixed the type A strip in place, we can place the panels on
the strip and fit the groove of the panel on to the strip until it is perfectly placed and adjusted.
6 . We then repeat the same operation with the next panel after
having previously put a B type profile in place vertically on the first panel. The
placement of the second panel must be made against the type A profile already fixed on the wall and the type B profile fixed vertically to the first panel.
7 .- Once we have completed one thread of panels, we can then put another
type A profile in place, fitting the short feathered tongue in the grooves of the
installed panels with the long groove facing upwards. Place screws in the long groove (in the lower area) to fix it to the strips or the wall, checking that we are still levelling the pieces correctly and installing the panels in the previously described correct manner.
