Although the majority of Duralmond surfacing can be used for ceilings, the company offers a range of modular products which imitate antique wood coffered ceilings. We guarantee that Duralmond provides the finest imitation wood available.
Modular and rustic Duralmond ceilings are ideal for traditional as well as more personalised designs, using a combination of styles to groundbreaking effect. Our coffered ceilings are full of character and stylistic strength to meet the needs of the most daring designers.
The imitation wood finish is achieved by copying the original wood surface. This is why the pieces have the finish offered in the catalogue. For special
orders, we can provide pieces with an imitation wood finish with wide grain (pine or fir type) or for open pore woods (oak or ash type). Other
contemporary possibilities include matte, gloss or metallic finishes. This type of final finish allows traditional forms to be incorporated into contemporary
designs.
Imitation wood with a pina or fir grain
This copies a semi-rustic texture of pine or fir
wood. The finish options are dark walnut, medium
walnut, light walnut, sapele, mahogany, cherry
and wenge.
Imitation open-pore wood
Copies a seml-rustlc texture of oak or ash. The
finish options are dark walnut, medium walnut,
light walnut, sapele, mahogany, cherry and
wenge.
Matt one-colour lacquer
We can finish parts In any colour from the
general RAL and NCS paint charts. Many
references from the Pantone chart can also
be used. Only occasionally do we accept
references from paint manufacturers’ own
charts.
Single-colour gloss lacquer
We can finish tiles in any colour from the
general RAL and NCS paint charts. We can
also use many references from the Pantone.

Metallic
The basic finishes are RAL 9006 and RAL 9007.
On order land at a price to be determined we can
produce finishes car-style metallic colours,
for which we use the automobile
manufacturers' colour charts.
Golden
The basic finishes are RAL 1035 and RAL 1036.

produce finishes in bronze, various shades of
gold and copper.
